The purpose of this meeting is to provide information in advance that the City plans to close Wharncliffe Road South for a period of 7 days this coming summer. The closure is required to facilitate underground work from the City ‘s Bruce Street Reconstruction Project onto Wharncliffe.
To complement our Bruce Street Reconstruction public meeting of December 4th, 2014, we are planning another meeting early in the new year to deal with the businesses along Wharncliffe. We will go over impacts and advise them of what they may expect during this closure.

This work is planned to take place during the summer months to avoid peak times and has been designed to be as least disruptive as possible to the businesses & City. Access to businesses North & South of Bruce Street will be maintained. More details around the closure will be communicated in the spring.
